- Biography
- I have lived in Georgia all my life. I have always enjoyed art. I attended college but for some crazy reason I did not major in art. I wish I had. I am for the most part self taught but I have taken art courses through Kennesaw State University. I now run a local artist co-op where I display my work and other local artists' work. I enjoy the work of many artists, my favorite is Van Gogh. I can identify with him and his work. I have a son who is bipolar, and understanding this disorder is helpful in looking at Van Gogh and his work. I love his use of color and I especially love his work with sunflowers. I like the bold colors and lines that is found in some folk art. Right now I am experimenting with different styles and painting on different types of surfaces.
